InterClassics Maastricht 2026 expands with addition of Supercar Foyer

Hyperexclusive sports cars from makers such as Koenigsegg, Pagani and Ferrari are coming to MECC Maastricht

The Benelux’s largest classic car fair and now a regular fixture on the European car scene, InterClassics Maastricht is expanding the offering for its 31st edition at MECC Maastricht with a first: the Supercar Foyer. The most exclusive modern sports cars and hypercars from brands such as McLaren, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Porsche and Ferrari will be on display in this new space. This is a notable addition to InterClassics, a fair known to be devoted entirely to classic automobiles for 30 years.

Collector cars: from classic to hypercar
The introduction of the Supercar Foyer represents an important step towards the future for InterClassics with these so-called collector cars: cars that retain their value and are often not only an object of affection, but also a solid investment. Whereas this term traditionally referred mainly to classic cars and youngtimers, today this category also includes contemporary sports cars and hypercars.

Exhibition manager Erik Panis explains:
‘Oldtimers are and will always remain the core of our event. And yet, for years we have seen a shift in the market towards youngtimers and, more recently, towards modern sports cars and hypercars. You will see a unique phenomenon in the cars in the Supercar Foyer: they are so exclusive and technically advanced that they often increase in value immediately after a sale. This is due in part to their scarcity, waiting lists or requirements from the car manufacturer. Good examples are the Ferrari SP2 and SP3: models available only to VVIPs (very, very important people), often collectors who already own ten or more Ferraris.’

In addition to renowned dealers such as Porsche Centrum Maastricht and Ferrari Munsterhuis, the biggest participant of the Supercar Foyer is Esser Automotive, official importer of the exclusive Swedish sports car brand Koenigsegg. All the cars in the Supercar Foyer are actually for sale. This makes it an extra special occasion for visitors: not only is the rarity of these hypercars an experience in itself, but the fact that (international) collectors will be able to seize this incredible opportunity adds a unique dimension to the presentation.

Clubs move to new home
The Supercar Foyer will be set up at the location where the car clubs used to have their stands. These clubs will move to a new area in MECC Maastricht’s conference hall in line with a new concept: the Club Boulevard. This new location will feature their own clubhouse, a meeting place where members can congregate in a welcoming environment. The entire trade fair complex is steadily evolving to become a true car paradise for enthusiasts.

InterClassics Maastricht will be held at MECC Maastricht from Thursday 15 through Sunday 18 January 2026. This classic car exhibition attracts over 40,000 buyers and enthusiasts. Early bird tickets are available for purchase online at a discount: Online price for adults: €20.00 (normal price at the door for adults: €26.50) Children 8 and under: free of charge.
