CONCOURS OF ELEGANCE

Talbot PL2 (Factory Team Car)

1930

🇳🇱

Talbot had been given the nickname ‘Invincible’ from the start. Even before World War I, Talbot was consistently scoring wins on the hills, beaches and racetracks of Britain. In the late 1920s, chief engineer Georges Roesch developed an advanced, high-revving, six-cylinder engine. In 1930, the Brit Arthur Fox joined the team, and the legendary Talbot 90 was born. Equipped with 2.3-litre engines with 93 hp, three white Talbot 90s caused a real sensation at Le Mans.

Two of them managed to finish third and fourth overall, behind two powerful 6.5-litre Bentleys.
