The ninth edition of the prominent InterClassics classic car show will be held from Friday, 15 through Sunday, 17 November 2024 in Halls 5, 6, 7 and 9 of the Brussels Expo. At this edition, the organisation will be putting Maserati’s 110-year history in the spotlight. Just for this occasion, InterClassics will be bringing together over twenty models made by the Italian manufacturer at the Brussels Heizelpaleizen. Originating from various museums and international private collections, the cars represent an unprecedented value. The Italian brand boasts an impressive record of sports achievements including participation and wins in Formula 1, Targa Florio, Indy 500 and later, FIA GT1 and the electric Formula E. In addition to these accomplishments, the Italian manufacturer is also celebrated for its extensive arsenal of iconic street cars. In 1963, for example, the brand with the famous trident symbol single-handedly created the sports-sedan niche with the then-groundbreaking Quattroporte. Maserati even regularly manages to steal the limelight in the new millennium; to this day, the MC12 (2004) is considered one of the most desired supercars ever. As recently as January 2024, one of these cars was sold at auction for three million Euros.

After setting three visitor records in a row, InterClassics organisers are pleased to present the new theme and poster featuring the characteristic drawing style. The poster features a Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder, the thoroughbred racing car that was driven in the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio several times during the 1950s. These legendary races have bestowed heroic status upon many a winner. Risking their lives, the drivers sped in their incredibly fast race cars through Italian villages and along narrow country and mountain roads. Racing enthusiasts consider these races to be the pinnacle of the 1950s World Sportscar Championships. These events were discontinued however due to serious accidents. A modern rally version of both races is still held today.

Lineup worth many millions

The organisers will bring together more than 20 Maseratis from home and abroad just for the 2024 edition of InterClassics Brussels. These cars will be made available by several international museums and private collections, giving visitors a complete picture of the 110-year history of the illustrious brand.

In 2023, the Le Mans-themed cars had an insurance value of over 60 million euros. With Maserati as its theme, InterClassics is once again presenting cars whose total value runs into the many millions. To further strengthen the theme, InterClassics has partnered with the Maserati Owners Club Belgium. Chairman Guido Danneel explains:

‘The year 2024 promises to be a special one for the club, with InterClassics Brussels entirely dedicated to celebrating 110 years of Maserati. Thanks to this partnership, InterClassics visitors will have access to unique Maserati cars never presented before. Despite its relatively small size, the club boasts a unique collection of rare vintage cars that have stood the test of time as well as changing design trends.

Known for its annually packed rally calendar, the club offers its members adventures in both the interior of the country and beyond. We have strong ties to the Maserati factory in Modena, and the club regularly organises trips abroad during which a visit to the factory is an absolute must.’

InterClassics Brussels 2024 will be held from Friday, 15 through Sunday, 17 November 2024 in Halls 4, 5, 6 and 9 of the Brussels Expo. The classic car exhibition traditionally attracts many buyers and enthusiasts. Admission tickets are available for purchase online at a discount: Online price for adults: €23.00 (normal price at the door for adults: €25) Children 12 and under: free of charge.
