De Ford Mustang Eleanor 1967 is een iconische auto die wereldwijd cultstatus verwierf door zijn rol in de film “Gone in 60 Seconds”. In deze film, waarin Nicolas Cage en Angelina Jolie de hoofdrollen vertolken, steelt de Mustang – bijnaam “Eleanor” – de show. De indrukwekkende scene met de 1967 Shelby GT 500 is legendarisch, waarbij de auto als laatste wagen wordt gestolen, wat de climax van de film vormt. Voor de filmopnames werden 11 Eleanor-auto’s gebouwd door Cinema Vehicle Services (CVS). Acht daarvan waren look-a-likes van de klassieke Fastback Mustang, maar slechts drie waren uitgerust met de krachtige 351 cid high-performance Ford Racing motoren en waren voorzien van speciale aanpassingen aan de ophangingssystemen en stuurmechanismen. Het resultaat was een krachtpatser met een V8-motor die 544 pk (400 kW) produceerde, wat zorgde voor ongekende prestaties.

De Eleanor Mustang is sindsdien een symbool geworden van snelheid, kracht en filmlegendes, en blijft een van de meest gewilde voertuigen onder auto- en filmliefhebbers.
