Partnership underscores shared passion for classic cars and strengthens fair’s international position
During a visit on Wednesday, 4 June to CHUBB’s London headquarters, the sponsorship contract between insurance company CHUBB and InterClassics Maastricht was extended for another five years. This means CHUBB will remain the title sponsor for one of Europe’s most prominent classic car fairs until 2031.
The long-term partnership will enable InterClassics Maastricht to continue its international growth and keep investing in quality, image and experience. General Manager Erik Panis is pleased with the extension:
‘The partnership with CHUBB as Title Sponsor of InterClassics Maastricht enables us not only to maintain the high level of the fair, but also to further strengthen it. InterClassics Maastricht is one of the top classic car events in the Benelux. Every January, more and more international collectors of exclusive classic vehicles discover this event in Maastricht. Our own vision and drive will enable us to further develop and distinguish InterClassics on the European classic car landscape, with MECC Maastricht and the city serving as an inspiring location. We are already working hard on the preparations for the next edition which will be held from 15 to 18 January 2026. After celebrating the 30th anniversary of the event this year, we are proud and excited to be able to look forward to our 35th anniversary in 2030, together with CHUBB.’
CHUBB has also expressed great appreciation for the cooperation. Jeroen den Tex, Country President Benelux at CHUBB, emphasises the event’s special character.
‘CHUBB has been a title sponsor of InterClassics Maastricht for several years now. The event manages to impress every year with a superb collection of classic cars and a lively atmosphere for enthusiasts and collectors. InterClassics is without a doubt one of the most exclusive classic car fairs in Europe, offering a perfect blend of history, elegance and passion.
‘This is why I’m so pleased to announce that CHUBB has renewed the sponsorship contract for another five years. This extension underscores our commitment to the classic car world and ensures that InterClassics can continue to grow and inspire. I am confident that with our support, InterClassics Maastricht will maintain its status as a top destination for classic car aficionados from all over the world. I look forward with enthusiasm to the coming editions and the special stories that lie ahead.’
